About Jacqueline Prouse

Artist. Storyteller. Guardian of Irish Heritage.

Jacqueline Prouse is an Irish artist based in County Meath whose work breathes life into Ireland’s past and present. Best known for her Rare Irish Wagon Collection, a unique series of watercolour illustrations representing all 32 counties, Jacqueline blends traditional craftsmanship with modern storytelling to create one-of-a-kind pieces rooted in culture, nostalgia, and connection.

Each wagon is a meticulously researched, hand-painted tribute to Ireland’s counties, featuring historical landmarks, local icons, and even interactive QR codes linking to tourism and personal stories. These works are more than art, they are living heirlooms, carrying Irish identity into the hands and homes of people across the world.

Jacqueline began her creative journey in childhood, later refining her style through years of personal exploration, artistic training, and a return home after living abroad. What began as a way to express a longing for Ireland has grown into a powerful visual legacy - one wagon, one county, one story at a time.

While the Rare Irish Wagon Collection is her flagship, Jacqueline also creates:

Wedding Wagons - custom couples’ pieces that include a private QR code to their evolving digital love story.

Business Wagons - bespoke heritage-style artworks for Irish pubs, shops, and tourism hubs.

Equine, Farm & Botanical Collections - character-rich paintings of native animals and flora.

Her work captures what it means to love this land - not just for its beauty, but for its spirit, humour, and history. Every brushstroke is intentional. Every piece, a map of belonging.
