Travel to Bangor, a charming coastal town, and enjoy a visit to Bangor Marina. Have some fun at Pickie Fun Park, which offers pedal boats, a miniature railway, and more. Drive to Mount Stewart, a stunning National Trust property, before continuing your journey around the breathtaking Ards Peninsula for spectacular views.☘️

For a day of hiking, head to the Mourne Mountains, where you can start with Slieve Donard, the highest peak in Northern Ireland. Then, take a drive to Strangford Lough and its surrounding areas, which include Castle Ward, an 18th-century mansion on the shores of the lough. Fans of “Game of Thrones” will recognize it as Winterfell. Nearby, visit Exploris Aquarium and Seal Sanctuary, home to over 100 marine species and colourful coral reefs in its Tropical Ocean zone. Strangford itself is a charming village with quaint streets and lovely cafés.☘️

Delamont Country Park is another must-visit, offering beautiful walking trails, a miniature railway, and stunning views over Strangford Lough. Don’t miss out on County Down's many festivals, such as the Wake the Giant Festival, Hillsborough International Oyster Festival, Blues on the Bay, and the Fiddlers Green International Festival, to name just a few.☘️
