Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, a multi-million-euro restoration project led to the cathedral's official reopening at Christmas 2014, making it a symbol of the resilience and dedication of the people of Longford.☘️

One of Longford's main attractions is the Corlea Trackway and Visitor Centre, showcasing a unique wooden road through the boglands dating back to 148 B.C.-the largest of its kind uncovered in Europe.☘️
