This piece is part of my evolving series exploring a distinctive technique using charcoal on canvas, enhanced with soft pastel for depth and tone. The process involves building multiple layers with carefully prepared coatings, each applied to create a textured, expressive surface. The finished artwork is sealed with two coats of protective varnish, giving it the gentle sheen and lasting resilience of an oil painting.☘️
